Rotas Strojírny supports many activities in our region, which includes long-term support for sports. The most significant is the TJ ROTAS weightlifting club. The weightlifters from Rotava have a long-term tradition and excellent results. They regularly participate not only in the Czech Championship but international competitions. Traditionally each December, the international “ROTAS STROJÍRNY Youth Weightlifting Grand Prix” competition supported by us is organized. The other supported clubs are e.g. HC Baník Sokolov and TJ Rotas Rotava – football club, and many more.

Another important project supported by the company is the Association for the Preservation of Ironworks in Šindelová. The association aims at the successful rescue of the unique historical facility and handing it over to the municipal authority in Šindelová. It will become a dignified symbol of the ironworking history of our region. This technical monument, one of the twelve most endangered of its kind in Czechia, is closely related to the history of ironworking in Rotava.
